Does anyone have a diagram or video out that shows how to sew up smelt? i read an article about it but confusing with out a diagram. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

I've always wondered what a "sewn smelt" was
I'm going to have to use that for pike fishing when I troll big shiners.

Will be making some leaders up using some micro/flex wire material Large Golden Shiner sewn on,trolled slow, should equal BIG pike

thanks for the info. i know all about the guarded fishing secrets society. i was once a member too. now i try to help out as much as i can and hope for the same in return. new to salmon/trout fishing and looking to up the catch rate. now i have to figure out how to get some smelt. ???
