Like most everyone here, I love it all! But, I am a bait fisherman at heart. I love fishing with a live minnow and a slip bobber. From a 1 inch fathead to an 8 inch sucker. That has to be my all time favorite method, you never know what you're going to catch.  In fact, just this morning I had a dream I was fishing a fat chub and catching smallies. ;D

Trolling for walleye in shallow water (15'-20'of water) with rapalla's or worm harness's in the early season is always a pretty good time! ;D

I must say that my favorite way for smallies is dragging a spinner bait across the bottom at night.
