I drove over to Catherine Creek to get the scoop for opening day.I hit the water falls and they were jumping everywhere. One actualy beached itself then flopped back in the water.

Heres a pic of the one that threw itself on the bank. shocked

I moved over to where they were jumping on the bank and caught another one on my camera.

one and the same..........same species, anyhow - perhaps locally a slight difference between lake-run fish and stream residents.........Cool pictures - I could stand at that spot and stare at those fish all day.

We may say of angling, as Dr. Boteler said of strawberries, “Doubtless God could have made a better berry, but doubtless God never did;” and so, if I might be judge, God never did make a more calm, quiet, innocent recreation than angling.  -Izaak Walton

Fishing isn't a matter of life or death, it's much more important than that!
