--- Quote from: Ice Dawg on Apr 12, 2007, 12:12 PM ---I bought paint remover and completely stripped a 14 foot aluminum boat. I went to a boat dealer and bought a can of aluminum oxide primer which can be used sparingly. Then I bought my paint (KRYLON)) in rattle cans from Menards, masked the boat off and sprayed it. It came out great. --- End quote --- I too want to paint an aluminum canoe. How long ago did you do your boat? |
Ice Dawg:
I painted it in 2000. I bought a different boat in 2002, but I see my old boat on a lake all the time and my son does too. It still looks great. |
