Boysen Greenbacks and Jumbos too
« on: Aug 08, 2007, 09:40 AM »
Headed down to Boysen last weekend and caught quite a few nice eyes.  Had a blast with the old man and my kids.

Just curious.

They have an office in Helena.

My dad owns an engineering firm here in also so just noticed your hat is all.

I'm on the construction engineering side of things so I kind of keep track of that sort of thing.

do you get those eyes jigging in the summer?  i just caught my first a couple of days ago in minnesota on a leech trailed behind a lindy bottom-bouncer.

The weirdest thing buddy
we were catching these fish over 50-60 fow down about 25-35 feet with bottom bouncers and green spinner worm harnesses.  There were a bunch of trees we were trolling through and just started nailing them.  Awesome  couple of days

I went down to Boysen today.  Still lots of boats fishing the trees.  But not many eyes.   Quite a few nice perch, a small walleye and one 21" bow.
A boat is a hole in the water that you pour money into.
