This was just posted on bloodydecks.com...

Not a personal report but thought this was pretty cool. My uncle e-mailed this to me: This is the new record in Canada. He caught it on the Winnipeg River, by Seven Sisters, in Manitoba. Check this thing out.. The last picture is unbelievable! This guy (in the photos below), was fishing and caught a 36" Pike - as he was reeling it in, a 56" Pike tried to eat it!!!!! He brought them both in on the same net. Awesome catch on a river in Canada - 55lbs-56 inches. It goes to show you that live bait works the best for the giant fish.

I don't know how old it is, if it's a repost, or what. But I thought you guys would like to see it. Wow.

That is just crazy! You know, biologists in Maine have netted several pike 50 inches and over in our Maine lakes

I wonder how many different places this same fish will be caught. Minnesota, Ontario, Lake st clair, Manitoba, Ireland, Scotland etc.

That picture has been around for years.Fish was caught some where in Europe

It migrates around the world and gets caught in all kinds of different places. I head they caught it in the Sahara in a little oasis pond
