2009  MyFishFinder  Online  Tournament

Tournament Dates :    05-01-09 (8:00 AM CST)  thru  07-31-09 (8:00 PM CST)

Sign Up Deadline :      04-30-09 (8:00 PM CST)


Eligible :                      All registered MyFishFinder forum members.

Prizes :                       First place from each category will win a choice of a copy of Pishtech's VR Sportfishing or a fly assortment from Dumond Flies. Badges will be awarded for 1st , 2nd and 3rd  place in each category.

Rules



1) You must be signed up by the deadline

2) You are allowed to upgrade entries. Once the entry is upgraded the previous entry is not eligible for prizes/awards.

3) You must print a copy of the MFF 2009 card which will be available on 04-30-09.

4) Two photos will be required per entry (no altered photo's)
a.) Photo 1: The fish must be photographed with the entire rule (measuring device) clearly and readable in the picture as well as the MFF 2009 card. Do not lay fish ON tape measure...put tape above or below fish(no home made, cloth/soft or altered rules)
b.) Photo 2: This photo must have the angler and fish together while still out on the water (if on boat) or with water in the background if on shore. This is to promote C&R and to keep the entry fresh in the picture .. no frozen entries.
      

5) The photo must be posted (no snail mail) within the tournament dates/times and remain posted.

6) The entry is length only - not girth or weight.

7) The length is "as the fish lays" - not by squeezing the tail. If the mouth is open it will be measured from the shortest point.

You must post your own entry ... no posting for others.

Rod and reel caught fish only.

Obey all local, state and province laws !

        

No incidental catches will be recognized. (If the species is out of season it cannot be entered)

                          

In the event of a tie the first entry entered will be honored.

          

                      

Decisions/Results will be posted by and on the MyFishFinder site.

                                                          

                                                        

Photo  Tips :

                                     
                                  

Use a rule with the largest numbers you can find.(yellow push/pull is best)

                                 

Take the photo directly above fish  ... not at an angle.

                                 

Take a landscape picture not a portrait ( take it left to right).

                                 

Make sure you can see the nose and tail with the entire rule.

                                 

Eliminate side clutter and fill the frame with the fish, card and rule.

 
                                  

Take several photos to ensure at least one meets the criteria.

                                  

Do not lay fish ON tape measure...put tape above or below fish
