at burt they never go off, at the Oak I've never heard them go off as well but they have gated off the dam and you now have to wear PFD's when fishing the oak.

hello you locals. over the years I have been hearing about the wall and night fishing. Went to the Salmon River last Monday and had no luck for 2 days so decided to try the wall. Was there Thursday night and Friday all day till dark. 3 of us and I got one run in all that time. I know from what I have heard that this cannot be normal. Was I too early or something else??

I fished yesterday.5 hrs from the wall not one fish.they were blowing the siren every 5 minutes..there are fish at the d**n.its just that u couldnt stay in the water long enough to fish...i did see alot if fish hooked. For the short amount of time that u could stay in the water.i seen alot a fish jumping at the bottom if the dam..

The rriver is gonna be hard to fish because brookfield power company are running water hard and blasting the siren like every 20 minutes. Harrsaing everyone. They were fined 400000.00 for not doing what they said they were going to do..by law they cant kick u out of the water but they try.hope they get thrown out of there...

we had alot of rain!  and that  water will rise  next day or two  so be careful.......i would think  100  fisherman should  knock on the door  down there and ask them gents out for a drink ...i'm sure this can be resolved   real fast

Fished the oz this morning. Water was definitely higher than yesterday. Fished the dam for 10 minutes before they sounded the horn. The salmon just poured Into the spillway when they raised the water. Couldn't go 3 minutes without hooking up. My dad landed a nice 22lb male for his biggest. I'll post pictures once I get home

ive heard that after the 20th brookfield can no longer make u get out of the river and u no longer need a pfd..larry from the salmon shop told me that..my opinion is a pfd is still a good idea up there..i seen alot a tickets issued for snagging the other day..the one warden hangs out near the crain by the first hole near the dam.he looked like a brookfield employee he did have a white hat on.there sneaky just thought i wouldd share that info..and yes fishing is pretty good

Flow has doubled since this morning, I'm assuming we will get a good push of fish over the next couple days?
