while fishing  with my granddaughter
this weekend at mudlock ,Cayuga lake entrance
 in Seneca falls NY
a man there caught a small brown fish app 6 " long
well I "id" this as a Round Goby.
well there here in the fingerlakes now
has anyone else caught them there yet?
my first in counter with them here
i did report this to NYSDEC by email.
I did not think they would make it here
all the way from Lake Ontario

It was only a matter of time from Lake Erie or Lake Ontario via Erie Canal and from Erie Canal into the adjoining canals and waterways unless they are impassable -  Oswegeo River, Oneida Lake, Onandaga Lake, Seneca River - Cayuga and Seneca Lakes, Mohawk River, Cross-Lake and probably a couple more that I missed.   >:(
