Up until last week I was not aware that DB smelts came in 2 sizes. I had never seen the smaller size.

Last time I was in the Old Town Trading Post, they had quite a few.
"I just want to get the work over as soon as possible so I can do some fishing. Fishing relaxes me. It's like yoga, except that I still get to kill something."

Is there any other online site to buy Guides Special Lures? Tried the NH guides link.    The phone number for Paugus Bay Sporting Goods gives you an answering machine saying they have been forced to close their doors due to the economy.  Thanks

***CAUTION***
THESE LURES ARE EXTREMLEY ADDITCING!!!! It can get costly...haha

You will end up buying 6 or 7 of the same pattern once you start catching fish, and you will catch fish with these lures.
Matty Groves (Hooked on Salmon Charters ) can tell you where to get the guide specials and mini guides (my favorites). The db's you can get most anywhere. Alan Nute  (AJ's Bait and tackle) used to also sell the BB Guns which are a lot like the db's and the guide specials. Top guns and mini guns are awesome too, give them a try.
