I have the first one I furled up longer ago than I can remember. It took so many fish

Maybe I better send along one of the carp leaders. I mean, that's what they are....carp with teeth. ;D

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

ya  coulda bathed in the  creek ya know ;D

Sorry trapper...I didn't do that but I did haul up a few 5 gal pails of creek water to flush the throne with! We had plenty of bottled water for drinking and cooking. Turns out the pressure tank shot craps so he didn't have to pull the pump... a lot cheaper fix too!  ;D

Couldn't raise much for fish this morning so I picked a few crayfish for tomorrow.

Big front coming in right now. Sky is pretty black. Finally some rain :clapping:

Should get things going.

First time in New Orleans I ate a pile of crawfish.  They are really good but I dont think id take the time to clean as many as I ate!

Could be fun throwing mice patterns for them in the flyrod.  I still need to drag myself to cabelas to replace the rod my buddy stepped on..

Went to the stream this afternoon for a couple hours. I needed some fresh air. Checked it this morning and remarkably, even after more than an inch of rain, it was up but still relatively clear. Anyway, I opted for the ultralight and a pocket full of Rooster Tails to keep it simple and not have to wade.

First stop, 5 casts, 3 smallmouth, 1 largemouth, 1 rock bass. Second stop, a few gills, a dozen or so rock bass and 1 smallmouth. What fun!

Tomorrow is promised to no one so.......I'll see where the spirit takes me ;D
