Go to your town hall to get your license; they can handle it!Also, the state is proposing 4 free fishing periods per year. Go to htheir website and read about the proposal; they are asking for comments. (about 8 free fishing day is my recollection which are Saturday and Sunday before Presidents Day, 3rd weekend in May, 4th
Sat. in Sept. and Vetrrans day) plus the 4th weekend in June which in effect now.)

Ahhh! The work will always be there tomorrow, but the fish may not!   ;D
(But I'm guilty of working too much, too.  :-\ )
One more with the one we're after and we'll have two.

well the 9 ft  8/9 wt  "lefty k"  handles salmon in the  river very well may aupgrade on the reel soon but everything handled very well the price was good and it shot the line well in a breeze ...I felt comfortable with the rod even tho it was heavier then what I'm use to

There's more water in my sink than the streams around here. The canal is a sickly looking green due to lack of water flow. My favorite lakes are 1-2 feet below normal levels.

We need some serious rain.

You got that right Bud...

My son and I floated a section of the Susquehanna (NY side) in mid-July and it was low. I remember commenting to him at the time that I'm seeing parts of this river I've never seen before. At that time, the USGS gauge near Waverly NY posted that the flow was around 1300 cfs. I checked their website today and it's currently below 800 cfs!! Darn near half of what it was when we fished it in July!!  :'(  :'(

Just one more cast!!! Just one more cast!!!

Can't beat those blanks Trapper. I have an Axiom 5wt that will throw rocks I think. Tons of power for a 5 wt.
