I am not sure on the weight not real heavy though it's a 12 footer. According to their web site the new ones are 48# I feel like mine is considerably lighter then that.

No real simple I just attached a u-bolt on each side and tightened it down as hard as I could then I just wrapped in duct tape to soften them up a bit. Just need an old metal frame pack and 2 ubolts.

What's the surface water temp up to in the adk ponds/lakes? I'd like to think it's gotta be in the mid 40's by now but that's just guessing.. Anybody been out?

i used to wait till the last week in may to fish trout around long lake,but this year it may be warmer,sooner

was out on raquette today,water temp was 45-50,surface temp,no fish today,2 lakers and a smallie yesterday

same page on not having a son close by anymore for a pack man, i do this what was done to the pack frame with the unbolts nice innovation
