You can find a lot of information on the small adirondack lakes/ponds at http://www.adirondacklakessurvey.org/.  Just go to the historic info tab.  Some ponds have depth maps and historic fish survey info.

There is a lot of information on camping areas in the moose river plains that includes maps.  It shows a couple of sites near Indian Lake.

Headed to Rollins this weekend, planning on doing the loop. I have fished Fishcreek, Rollins and Whey ponds. Can I find any trout in Floodwood or mostly pannies and bass? Thanks have a great weekend.

Thanks for the info Rat. Yep Franklin County, I'll try to sneak away to Long Pond. Thinking I'll fish Whey a little harder this time out.

Great weekend at Rollins not so great fishing. Panfish, and huge shiners. Bullhead in Whey water is quite warm and low, and of course busy.

Any word on how many of these waters have fared this summer with the extreme heat and drought?   Anyone witness any die offs due to low oxygen or high water temps?  Just curious, I am not that familiar with how sensitive some of these fish are in the smaller remote ponds and lakes.  I am heading up in a couple weeks for a weekend and want to make the most of it.   ???

I went many times over the summer to remote, small ponds and never saw any sign of trout die off. The brookies bit great every trip  ;D
