I'm  using a Bean Streamlight Series 3-weight outfit.  The rod is just over 5 feet long...perfect for flicking flies in tight quarters.  I'm sure other brand outfits of a similar weight will fit the bill as well.

Jim, what are you using for a fly rod?

thanks, i was wondering cause i have a few streams around me and my 6' 2wt is up north at my camp and i have my 8' 5 wt and 9' 6wt here
