fish are bitting up north again.

fished the lower Conn. river this weekend good numbers of fish alot of 14-15" rainbows broke off a whale of a  brown and got my personal best in n.h. 17-1/2" brookie picture is in the entry page.

Way to go Lou, nice brookie, after last nights fiasco trying to catch some Crappie, I'm staying off the lakes till after Labor day !

I love fishing the Connecticut up there, Usually hit it 7-8 times a year...but I've yet to fish a stream/river yet this year :-\ too busy trolling in the boat, I'll be back up there in the next week or so, maybe I can find that Brown you were talkin' about  ;) :laugh:

yeah you can give me back my fly i snapped off three in one area of the river i just can't go any heavier than four pound test.
