Bob you dont need a new boat  :P
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and there go all the good spots.

i for one dont think killing all these fish is helping the fishery? people are too hung up on salmon. we have a lake that could have huge lake trout  in it and all people want to do is kill them. if the salmon cant hang with the other fish oh well. i fish to catch fish i rarely keep any fish unless it bleeding badly. i think i may organize a salmon derby for next spring. i give out 100 dollars for every dead salmon brought to the boat ramp at the end of the day. all these things do is kill fish. check the woods down by raymond beach after the winter derby full of dead fish discarded by so called sportman. ill get working on that salmon derby for next spring. i fish for them too but not looking to kill a bunch of fish for no reason. mother nature will take care of the fish alls we do is screw things up when we try to help out.......

You obviously dont know the reasoning for taking lake trout out of sebago.  The goal is not to kill all the lake trout.  The goal is to minimize the population so you have a trophy fishery.  You cant keep or kill every lake trout you catch.  There is a limit and only killing one fish over 23 helps with making it a trophy fishery.  If you minimize the amount of smaller lake trout, then there can be a better balance between lake trout and salmon.  Good luck on getting that Salmon permit.  Peter Bourgue would shut you down soooooo fast.

Hey that's pretty good. It only took you 43 trips to Sebago to accomplish that.  :rotflol: :rotflol:

Yes, I know a couple people down Sebago way that could show you how to catch some of those elusive lake trout, Bob. :rotflol: :rotflol:
