My wife bought some lures called "Joe's Fly" a few years back... simple spinner rig type things with various wet flies attached. Darned things caught trout like no tomorrow!

I think you can get the larger props from Barlows.

I've been winding some carp weight furled leaders. They toss big flies pretty well too.  Turns over a big dragon fly or STP frog on 0X tippet like a dream.

No tying for me as my home improvement project has taken up all my free time (and it looks so easy when they do it on TV)

When I get a batch of those in the box, I'm going to work on open water carp flies. I want a 40 lb'er on the fly from Lake Ontario. When it gets warm, you'll find me fishing the flats for old rubbernose
