Cool. Looks like they could crawl right out of your box.

Beauty is in the eye of the fish.  ;D

Try learning to tie those legs with knotted pheasant tail fibers. It's a great exercise and super natural looking legs.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Very true. I still recall a 1970's fly fisherman magazine article that stressed impressionism over realism. Been tying that way ever since.

Good odea but a tad tough rg.. I tie my legs and tails with goose biots.. if I tie legs I heat tweezers and curl the leg in to shape with thd heat and tweezer.. same as they do in the book Oliver Edwards fly tiers mater class.. good book for realistic tying techniques.. if you need me to I can take dome example pictures??

Just having some fun with The legs and I'll see how they catch. To be honest I just liked watching their flyfishing videos on youtube and thought I'd try them out

Love to see some pictures Boone. That's the real joy of fly tying. You're only limited by your imagination. There's a thousand and one ways to tie a fly.

pieces of heavy mono  heat a bodkin and use that to shape the bends ,then a black sharpie to cooler after you get them all shaped and colored cut to size

I'd eat them (LOL) - After this snowmelt you should be able to give them a good test drive. Trout do like the rubber stuff.

Just got done tying up this years supply of March Brown nymphs.   I used a pattern I found in an old Orvis catalog.    Its kinda 3 dimensional.  On to the streamers.
