HUNT-n-CHEEKS THREAD (37 pound King back!!!)

Starting to get excited for chasing Browns on the big lake...a few pics to get pumped...the best day with my daughter two years ago...going to fish more this year from the boat...kinda took last year off...just to avoid comments this was two years ago, I have my PFD now and I wear it... 8)

Nice to see some pictures with open water and grass..   Even though it was last year, but its a start.....   Nice fish.... ;D

iv been registered on here for quite awhile but i think this is my 1st post. was surprised to see another cheeks/hunt, hunt/cheeks thread.   and of course raquette was there blabberin as usual ;D ;D  8)

looking to get another new boat this yr so i can try the spring browns on the big O is there any info that anyone is willing to share? Ive never done it and i dont think my lil 14 starcarft is up to the challenge.

Thanks SNAGGER...I've been over on the shanty and Huntingforum...gonna fish more this year...GERT you can get Big O browns out of a 14 foot boat in the spring, obviously you have to watch the weather but its as easy as trolling the shorelines...you can get more technical with Planer boards or down riggers but for fun I just flatline with my 16 foot boat...I fish in 2-3 foot chop pretty comfortably...probably not much different than early spring in the fingerlakes...water is really clear so get your lines out a bit...1.7-2.2 mph
