April 23, 2015: Lake Ontario Adventure with Lavaman, PapaAnthona, Brownbaggin and myself:

The trip was not looking like it was going to materialize as the weather pattern significantly changed earier the week. A small craft advisory, 30-40 mph West winds, snow, rain along with 6-8 foot seas, did not stop this dynamic group of fisherman from getting the job done. I had booked the trip for us back in February and the excitement had been building for quite some time only to have our hopes dashed due to this major shift in the trending weather patterns for the area. After many conversations with my friend, charter Captain David Silver of Reel Silver Charters it was decided upon that our boat was not going to be running the south shorelines. I knew I had to reach out to a different area on the lake if this trip was going to happen, nor could I disappoint the group. To our rescue, Bill Saiff III (BSO-Bill Saiff Outdoors) answered the call ........a truly amazing charter service. Captain Bill Saiff Jr and his mate Rich Moore made this adventure a very rewarding, satisfying and fruitful event.  Atfer a 7.5 hour drive, we arrived and was greeted by Captain Bill Jr "so which one of you guys knows Franky!!!" I knew this was going to be great trip..........A few pictures with a video to soon follow:

There’s just one thing that’s buggin me....I’ve added and subtracted till  I can’t see…With all the equipment that I have found....A fish cost me $50.00 a pound.

BEST DAY EVA!!! Wecome to my new addiction. great times with a great crew. the suspense of weather conditions cancelling our trip combined with if we could find the fish then limiting out then catching a rare atlantic salmon while snowing and being the only boat out there is what the best fishing stories are made from. Tom thanks for including me in a trip I will never forget. I think everyone really appreciated the way you had a plan B in place in case the trip was cancelled and the fact that you drove both ways without much sleep. that capt and mate entertained us all day and I would recommend them highly. I cant wait to do it again.
