Maybe spring will finally be in the air after this weekend. It's been a long and cold winter.

Caught a 22"er from shore in Haverstraw yesterday on a bloodworm. So far I'm continuing my 1 bite-per-trip streak.

Not even a bite after 4 hours of shorefishing in the rain in Haverstraw. Every one of the other anglers I talked to had the same results as myself. Doesn't look like I'll be heading out tomorrow with all the rain forecasted.

Caught a 27"er from shore at Nyack Beach Park today on a bloodworm. Only fish of the day, but it was well worth it. The guys next to me caught a 24"er.

keep up the reports Gino!
I really need to bring the boat out there sometime, I just don't know enough about that fishery to amount to squat!
