Has anyone been fishing long pond or cranberry pond in Monroe county in ny going tomorrow wanted to know if there is enough open water?

ice fished long Saturday (3/29) - still had 8.5 inches of ice, but you could open water fish where the channel from the lake meets LP and where the channel connecting cranberry is - had about 50 yds of shore at both ends that were fishable - probably more after yesterday's weather

watched the guys yesterday on edgemere for 1/2 an hour saw one perch caught. thinking water temp is holding spawn frenzy off right now

Tuesday afternoon there were about 12 guys ice fishing on Cranberry and on Long Pond there was about 20 guys shore fishing at Long Pond. Measured the water temperature at Long Ponds edge on Edgemere at 40 degrees. Did not see any perch caught from shore. No ice guys on Long Pond.

2 of my buddies went to LP yesterday (Wed) and caught 4 between the 2 of them.  They fished for about 3 hours.

How much open water is there?  Are we talking 20-30 feet of open water between the shore and the ice or is it more ice free than that?  Is it ice free enough to take out our kayaks?

Maybe like 30-50' of open water as of yesterday. Maybe after this weekend.
