These came off on of my favorite ponds in the Pharaoh Lake area last weekend. I went in Saturday afternoon and came out Monday morning.

20"  Brown

19"Rainbow
Unfortunately I lost the lure both of these slammed 2 casts later. I had many more bumps and follows the rest of the weekend, but never landed another fish. I did however loose one with weight on the flyrod with a Muddler. There's not supposed to be baitfish in this pond, but in the evening it was alive with them and that's what they were chasing. The lure I lost "matched the hatch" and the fish were particular!

End of day, Sunday.
It was a great, enjoyable, and memorable final pack trip for the season.
One more with the one we're after and we'll have two.
The brook trout is the prom queen of the trout world, and a promiscuous prom queen at that!

Nice pics fishmachine. Im blessed to live just a couple miles away from this pond.  Have you ever caught a brookie out of there?  I was told they were in there years ago but have never caught one.  Would be cool to get all three species in the same water.
