Today was one of my best days fishing ever.  Big fish all morning.  No lost lures or fish.  Just awesome out there.  One 6lb LL, Two 7lb LL's and a 7lb Brown were the highlights of the day.  Many fish released.

Hit the lake this morning early with a couple friends. The fish were turned right off. Total 180 from yesterday, BUT that happens all the time so no biggy. On top of that the boat broke down while we were out there. So Id like to give a big THANK YOU to Nick Overacker of Reel Stories Fishing Charters for coming to tow me in at a moments notice even though he had clients on his boat!! Thanks Nick you ROCK!

Lifes journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in awell preserved body; but rather to skid in side ways totally worn out shouting (holy sh*t)  WHAT A RIDE! FISH ON!.

Havent posted in a while I been fairly busy with work.  Fishing evenings mainly.  However this weekend we fished the Seneca lake trout derby and had a lot of fun.  Fish very hard, if the sun was up we were fishing!  Saturday was a slow day for us but Sunday was fast action with a good amount of fish brought to the boat. The Browns were hungry and we were ready! We even had a triple! The largest Brown boated was a 24" 7lb 6oz fatty by my friend Bill. The Largest Landlock Salmon was 25" and around 6lbs and the largest Rainbow was a nice 26" 6lb 4oz Beautiful fish which I brought to the boat! Unfortunately we didn't make the leader board. Glad to be out with a good team!

Thanks Chrony.  I've been very impressed with the Seneca Lake fishery.  I've already beat my PB fish this spring on Rainbows and Landlocks. 5 times over with the Landlocks....  I hope the rest of the year is good to me

Thinking of taking a weekend trip to Seneca wondering if anyone can give me some info on what part of the lake is good for trolling, not looking for anyone's hotspots just a general area north, middle, southern, kind of thing so I can find a hotel and have somewhat of an idea where I'm going Thanks.

Way to hit em hard Vogel! Pretty impressive stringer fer sure! Gotta agree Seneca's fishery is in a lot better place than Cayuga right now.We managed to get out last Saturday as well.....south end outta the Glen.....east side temps were 2-3 degrees warmer than the west, so thats where we spent most our time.....action was slow especially after the rain started.....but we did manage a couple of bows and I got this real nice brown too!

Hey Vogel good decision to fish Seneca this year. Cayuga has been tough. Small landlocks, and a few lakers. I got a nice laker on a deep diver crankbait yesterday, that was a suprise.

Been a while since I last posted, boat has been down for an extended period of time.  All fixed now though!  Hit the lake Sunday from 4:30am-Noon.  Very slow, went 4 for 4.  South end has been slow for us so we went 6 miles North outta the gate and nothing... trolled back south to hit the mudline and to my surprise it was cold and there were fish there!  Here is the one nice fish of the day.  24"+ 6lb LL.
