carp near Humboldt
« on: Apr 16, 2014, 12:38 PM »
as far as i can tell the closet place to catch carp to Humboldt is last mountain or south Saskatchewan river.  does any one know if there is carp in stoney lake?  I heard a theory that the perch in stoney swam up from last mountain so if the perch did I'm sure carp could have too.  It would sure be nice to fish for carp 5 minutes from home.

I've never heard of carp in Stoney Lake. Not saying there aren't any, just that I have never heard anyone tell of them in there.

Barrier/marean has carp in it. Haven't fished for them but guy at work had a picture of a dead one floating on Marean. Pushin 20lbs.
