When fishing for strippers, make sure you keep your $1's seperate from your $5 & $10's.  ;D

As for stripers, check to see what bait is in the area, and try to imitate that as best you can.
Generally, this time of year the bass are on to herring and shad.
In this case, swim bates and lures that mimic the color and action of the bait will usually work well.

Last year, my wife bought me a charter for four off Groupon.  The receipt said stripper charter..... :o
One more with the one we're after and we'll have two.

An easy mistake to make - "stripers vs. strippers"..."potato vs. potatoe" - but still, Fishermantim's response was absolutely HILARIOUS!!! :D :D :D :D

If your going to the albany area, the two launches I have used are the corning preserve launch(fills up fast)and the one at henry hudson park which to me is a better launch.

Harvest Sun Charters   ;)     Capt Chris is awesome ....  518-669-7379

Otherwise wait another week from now for the numbers to build. Then get a sabiki rig, catch some herring and drop em on the bottom  8)
