Fishing for grayling - Cool video
« on: May 17, 2014, 10:31 PM »
This video from Alaska's Game & Fish about fishing for grayling is worth the watch for many reasons.  There's some sweet underwater footage.  Nice stretch of water too.

Very cool! Looks like that could be a lot of fun. I am not a big river fisher but THAT I would like to try! Thanks for the post!

Then there's this video from England about grayling fishing.  I can't figure out what "trotting" is.  It looks like a clear casting bobber but I can't tell if it's a little fly under it or what. http://www.videojug.com/film/a-guide-to-grayling-fishing

I liked that one too. It never ceases to amaze me to the varied species of fish and the techniques used to catch them all around the world.
Thanks for putting those videos out there. Tight lines!

It looked like an "egg sucking leech" fly pattern.  Very popular here with the steelhead fishing crew.
