Lake is very muddy. They still are catching crappie near structure. I suggest a trip below the dam in spillway. Should gets lots of cats and who knows what else. The crop of eng just decreased flow considerable today and will most likely shut it down more in the next couple days.Gates have been open for a long time now so there should be a good number and variety of fish. Chicken liver /worms / shrimp/ cut bait is all you'll need. Same baits in resi up in the coves and on the flats from a boat, 6 to 8 ft deep. Have a good week.

Nice.  Were the crappie caught at night or day?  Open water or structure. Just wondering. May get a chance to go over the weekend.

Trolling open water breaks during the day with Small Shad colored Crankbaits ( Look for the bait balls at 20ft and troll through them- )

theres a 200 yard line of hazard bouys along the break we trolled goes from 8ft to 48 ft stay in 20-25 ftw
we trolled at 2.5mph

hope this helps

Showers are newer bathrooms were clean
sites were nice

I'd go back .

crappies 10in average( I spent a lot of time running limb lines for Cats) we get get some 12's tho
Had electric but no water at our site ( they do have both)
they also have free overnite mooring(we never took the boat out)
27 a night ? weekend
DNR site has actual pricing
it was cheaper during the week monday-thurs
