Oh yeah... a hot summer's evening, watched the lunar landing on a 19 inch black and white TV!  Happened during prime time on tv.  Guess most on this forum weren't born yet!

I was 10 and yes it was before most homes had air conditioning and cars as well.
I guess thats why I charish it now lol.

Me too but I still remember it.

Strangest reply I ever got to this was a guy who said  he did not find out about it until several days later. I asked him why and he said that he had been in a firefight in Viet Nam for several days. Missed the whole thing. I told him I was happy he got to hear the news later and he laughed and said he was too.

I remember  was sitting on the couch with my dad, I had a broken arm and he had a broken leg.stuck at home

I wasn't even a dream of a dream yet. Neither of my parents were even born for another 2 years lol. Still a very cool day and I wish I could have experienced it.
