CTFishing Adventures 's Ethan Kleohn will be giving a free rigging and catching catfish clinic at CTO this Thursday, July 31st in advance of our 2nd annual Whisker Round up!
As a guide and avid angler, Ethan has landed more than his share of Behemoth Fish, in multiple species.
You will learn about effective catfish rigs and equipment, baits, and we'll even provide a list of secret cat-fishy hot spots on the CT river!

We are also putting many catfish related items on sale that night, so you can save $$ getting ready for the Tourney too!

Mandatory check-in: 6-7pm Saturday 8/2 at Cove Park Boat Launch, Wethersfield

Fish or Launch anywhere on the CT River (in CT) and it's coves from shore or from a boat, your choice! Registration includes Wethersfield Cove Park launch and overnight vehicle & trailer parking fees

All Fish must be presented for weight and photos at weigh in station before 7am 8/3 and must be released alive. All Participants shall hold all event promoters and sponsors, specifically but not limited to, Outdoor Enterprises LLC, and Farmington Bank harmless in all and any event of injury, damage or loss during participation in this event. All Anglers further agree that any catfish entered into the contest for weight will be released unharmed, swimming alive to be considered an entry. Anglers may keep fish to eat, but that fish may not be entered into the contest.
Prizes go to heaviest fish.
