8/31/14 Maxi

Went to Maxi Sunday night. My buddy caught 2 eyes one short (13 3/4) and one 19 1/2. I caught one small perch and one 12 1/2 perch. Marked a lot of fish but could figure out what color and lure they wanted. SWT was 78.5 degrees. Started fishing around 11:30 and quit at 6:30. Caught the short and two perch at daylight.

We fish at night to avoid all of the water skiers and jet skis. Also to avoid the summertime heat. We usually fish at night starting Memorial Day and end around Labor Day weekendm I occasionally fish fall at night as well. It is also easier to find a parking space at Maxi at night.
