Good luck!   ;D
One more with the one we're after and we'll have two.
The brook trout is the prom queen of the trout world, and a promiscuous prom queen at that!

Last time I got a channel cat in the Conn. River was something like 20+ years ago on a jitterbug... It was about 9lbs. I don't have the patients to sit and wait with bait... Best of luck to you!

well update on the night we fished till around quarter till two in the morning extremely slow and may I say humid night where were these nights mid summer??? lol... anyway my buddy did get one screaming run on the bait runner and when I say scream it was like a striper on a bait runner thing sailed and was stopping for nothing he sets the fish and fights it within probably 30 ft of shore when it went nuts headshaking and then rips the fighting drag like it wasn't even there and then it hangs up in what well never know and the rest im sure u can guess he got back sinker and all but no hook....I been catfishing for years and ive never seen one act like this unless it was one bigger than we wanna know lol it definately even left me wondering what or how big it was....my buddy is still recovering from the sunken feeling he endured lastnight definitely a night to remember.

Maybe it was a striper, I have caught them to Turners Falls in the past...

I thoghut that too lol. But figured your chances of getting one of those 30ft from shore with a rod for cat fish, was pretty slim lol
