Boy I'm ready for the hardwater seems like summertime there is something going on every weekend, grad party, weddings. family reunions.  Hoping for a polar vortex

It'll be here sooner than we want. I'm not anxious to leave my streams and lakes just yet. Perch fishing is just coming up and my boat ain't goin under cover just yet.

if you are bored and want to sharpen your jigging skills get out there and fish the trico hatch with a #22 fly any AM. That will keep you occupied  'til ice!

Boy I sure do missing fishing tidal waters and inshore flounder pounding!
I am slowly becoming a hardwater nut since I've moved up here to VT, not much else to do in the 7 months of winter we get up north here.

Im ready for some ice. but then again october through at least  march...spells DIVORCE for me .hunting then ice fishing  ...every year for the last 9 years

I like icefishing but not ready for it yet from this time of year on is my faviorite lots of perch salmon trout and eyes.
