NOT ME!!! Still some of the best open water fishing of the year to come!!!! Tuna, Bonito, Albicore, Stripers, Blues, Tautog, Walleye and more!!!! I am in no hurry for ice... At least for me, Ice Fishing can not beat top water action.... On its best day! Example; http://youtu.be/4E00KdfvDKY

If you think that ice fishing is better than that, you need to do some open water fishing with me!

Ice schmice!

It'll be here sooner than we want. I'm not anxious to leave my streams and lakes just yet. Perch fishing is just coming up and my boat ain't goin under cover just yet.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

if you are bored and want to sharpen your jigging skills get out there and fish the trico hatch with a #22 fly any AM. That will keep you occupied  'til ice!

Where do I sign up for topwater action with stripernut???
Boy I sure do missing fishing tidal waters and inshore flounder pounding!
I am slowly becoming a hardwater nut since I've moved up here to VT, not much else to do in the 7 months of winter we get up north here.

Aww come on. There's only 4 months of frozen water and there's always a hatch during the February thaw.   ;D
