Beautiful job on the fish Jay & a nice way to do it on a mature fish like that.   


Luckily his taxidermy skills are better than your photography skills. If not you would have gotten a torn piece of lined paper with a togue drawn in red crayon.......

For what it's worth I highly recommend Roger. He's done alot of mounts for my family and friends and everybody has been very happy with his work. That mount of yours is proof of the man excelling in his work. My piebald buck is behind those 210 moose. I had better find a picture of it to remember it by. Great mount!

I can carve it out of Basswood  all I need is a picture and measurements .I do not paint. 20 yrs. down the road a carving will have a lot more value. Been doing it for over 60yrs.

The value of the reproduction is to me since I was the one who caught it.  I guess I don't really see it having value to anyone else now or in the future.
