Tippy smallmouths
« on: Sep 17, 2014, 02:36 PM »
Been living at the Tippy River State Park for a month now. Been fishing the river there. Son and I throw some small cranks usually. Not uncommon for us to reel in one or two fish a night - sometimes more.  Last week he had a nice hit and reeled in a alb 9 ounce smallie. I considered this a nice fish, would others agree?  Most of the fish we get are around eight inches in length.  Still, we are having fun fishing together.

Boomer, My biggest smallie from the tippy was just south of the park where the river makes a big bend to the right. Measured just over 20".
