What a beautiful site when I reached the top of the ladder at work this morning.  Never been so happy to see an icy roof.  ;D ;D ;D   Almost took Porters advise drilled a hole and put a :tipup: in it  :whistling: :rotflol:  It will be here soon enough!!

It will be here all to soon... I am in no rush, still lots of GREAT fall fishing to be done before the ice is here... Salt, Fresh, the walleye have not started to move yet, some of the best striper fishing of the year is just starting, the water still is not cool enough to turn on the trout and the tautog have not even started to come in yet... I will enjoy the ice when it gets here, but I am in no rush...

I still hope to get out for some tuna!

Ice Ice baby!!
I'm with stripernut still hoping for a shot at a tuna, but the seas on that hard water are nice and flat. Ive been getting the s#!t kicked out a me the last couple trips out

Loved seeing the frost again this morning.  Makes me  :)   Wonder if we will be on the ice by halloween this year  :D  We can only dream.

Will brought the spud today and checked the ice it was a little soft but it held up.

Ordered a new set of IH and just finished machining my electro-auger stuff this week. Heading to MA Jan 6 for a week - can't wait to be back on NE ice! :)
