Oh Boy,  Good for you!  I used to pick quite a bit then got away from it as I focused so much on deep woods hunting.  Gotta get a refresher course from someone.

Was nice weekend to hunt if you don't include Saturday morning.
Saw a scrub eight and six woman/children Saturday PM, could have smoked a nice doe but decided to hold off
I know...prolly regret it.
Sunday saw six woman/children, shot at one smaller doe, didn't do it.

Anybody else??

Let me clarify, "could" have shot at doe, but didn't.

Had a great sit yesterday morning. I was barely in my stand and had a spike chase a doe through grunting! He was not chasing hard, just bothering her enough to push her along. Saw quite a few deer but nothing within range.

A friend shot a doe, we didn't like the looks of the arrow so we waited til morning, this is what we found...darn coyotes  >:(
If your not sure of your shot don't take it, not only from the moral standpoint, but also, chances are you'll find the same bone pile we did.

Got out last evening in a usually productive spot.  Didn't see a thing.  Tried a new spot this morning and saw 2 nice bucks but too far to shoot.  Went back this afternoon and saw another little 4 pt also too far away.   Maybe back in the morning.
