Alabama Bound!

9 days away from a much needed trip to Alabama for my wife and I, we will be visiting her family. Looking forward to the trip and a fishing trip or 2 for striper's. Last time I got a 29.5 lb'er, will be fishing Smith Lake, in north central alabama. I'll try and post some pics!

Well I booked 2 striper trips today the 23rd and the 30th. I sure was hoping to go sooner but bad storms set everything back. I may go looking on my own later this week. Not used to this humidity down here!

We fished yesterday and had a great time, caught 5 stripers from 10-16lbs. We fished with stripefishingheadquarters.com Bill Vines, he's very knowledgeable and a great guide with first class equipment.  I will post pics when I can get downloaded. Another trip scheduled for next Thursday.

Trip #2, caught 6 total fish from 5-18.5 lbs. Had some awesome top water action first thing in the morning. A 18lb're on top is a lot of fun. Had home next week and will post some pics then.
