Sunday Night Bite
« on: Oct 20, 2014, 07:02 AM »
Love this time of year with all the great colors of fall and winter right around the corner. Ended up with a great mess of fish and fished up to 10 pm. Used a spotlight shined down the side of the boat gave us plenty of light to see the rod tips. Fishslayer was using the disco color mode on his Vex. Was a fun time or at least we thought so..... I got the evil eye when I hot home! Lindy Toads tipped with spikes have been the goto jig. Fish were 26 fow to 20 fow on the bottom.

It was a blast. I even thought I had escaped the lady of the lake this time..... Went to take the hitch lock off my trailer no keys hmmmm. Checked my sweat jacket pocket there's a hole! First time in my life I was happy to have a China made product. The lock cut easier than expected.

My buddy had same type lock you cut off. He'd had it on for quite some time. He just gave it a good lick with a hammer and it just disintegrated. I have the same kind. Think maybe I should be looking for a new one.
