Mohawk River and rain
« on: Oct 25, 2014, 09:36 AM »
Just wondering if anyone knows if the Mohawk is fishable after this rain. Like by Maaliwyck or Lock 7. I'm sure it's running good and dirty that's for sure. Or even Lock 9 on the route 5 side... Haven't been there in years.

you can go by the USGS guage on the mohawk in Cohoes, it has turbidity readings...although some of my best fishing on the Mohawk has been when its high and muddy.
