SALMON FINALLY!!!!!!!!!

Been fishing the still the last 3 days and have been seing a few salmon but couldnt catch any untill today. i saw one of the biggest salmon i ever saw in my life in a pool and i cast my worm at it and it ate it. i fought the fish for 10 minutes untill i finally got it in the net which it would barely fit in. It was 25in and i weighed it on my handheld scale and it was 5lb 12oz!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I had someone bring me a camera and a cooler to help keep the fish alive when getting a pic and let it go to continue its spawn. The salmon are finally here and there is bound to be a lot of people there this weekend.

Nice Fish. Nice job on setting her free also. I got 2 nice ones this spring on Krocks and it seems to be getting better every year. Now we just need those big Browns to come back like they used to be in the CHU

that is a beauty of a salmon. cudos on the release. just hope the fight didn't wear him out. looks like a big male.

something was up with the camera it never worked right and it was a old camera but the photo was taken of the fish yesterday

I took a walk down from the bridge to the first pool on saturday morning and there was only one car at the landing and 2 people fishing in the pool. the weather must of kept the crowds away.

d**n nice hook jaw and big props on releasing it. it would be great if mass had a catch and release only fishing on them during the spawn. in nh you cant even fish for them during the spawn.
