my records show i was getting eyes,on the far side from lock on nov.15 1999
i have not checked the water this year

I went there to check it out a few weeks ago. The Lock side (Route 5 ) seemed shallow but out of the current... Might give t a try before the water becomes ice....The other side is too much of a hike with kids and a5 month pregnant wife...lol

you should get bass on north end around barges,and some on south end,but eyes like far side
