Nice Bow. Glad to see that area is still giving some good action. Been a lot of nice bows caught there this fall.
I fish every chance I get and enjoy every time I fish. They call it fishing not catchin

  • If it was easy they would call it catching.

Ty, nice meeting you too. It was as sudden as you said, I really was there to cast for Lakers so I set the powerbait and went to put my strike indicator on and wham!

Is powerbait effective for lakers? That might be an easy solution to my shiner constantly getting down in the weed and becoming useless. Nothing I hate more than pulling in a shiner after it has soaked for 45 minutes only to find it hiding in a half pound of weeks:-)

I have had lakers strike on powerbait. Ive had them strike powerbait as i was reeling in my stuff. So its not exactly unheard of.

I have a buddy that swears by putting two power eggs on with his shiner and he catches them. Is the success rate higher, that I didn't notice a difference.
