The river near me finally opened up the other day so I got excited and put out a minnow trap.  Came back the next day to find it froze over.  Darn is right.  At least when it thaws back out it should be full of minnows. 

Or gone.

It's not gone.  The steak and rope are still there.  It is in a slow back water with only a skim of ice on top.  I could easily chop through it and get it out if I needed. I may be new to the site and borderline computer illiterate but not new to the waters.
