Already boated some 'eyes.

Feb 7th and 13th. 78F and 70F respectively.  Water temp 40F.

It closes during spawning here in NY.

It closes during spawning here in NY.

Here they close access to some rip-rap dams where the nets are set out to collect spawners and their eggs.  Only 4 or 5 dams in the entire state. Eyes dont reproduce naturally here so they collect, fertilize, rear, and then re-stock.

Went out there this morning, no solid hookups  ::)  But nice day to be out. They are still working the nets hard.
