News today is Roy's is open to launch.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

News today is Roy's is open to launch.

Rg    I went looking today and was at Roy's around 1:30. The driveways were cleared and very accessible , however at that time the launches had mounds of snow. I'd Call first ! ! !   The lake is a little low, and from past experience,  Roy's launch seemed a little on the shallow side for my 20' Starcraft.  Good Luck.

They were elbow to elbow by Dawn today at Sampson. I saw 2 fish come over the wall. Don't know how the crowd did.

The Lodi Point Marina launch ramps have been opened up and are free of ice.

Launched out of Severne Tues. and ran to Sampson 10 mile run for NADA, ZIP, ZERO tried 6 other spots the only thing with gills was a 4-5 lb. pike the old man brought to the boat. Nice day to go for a boat ride. It will get better......it can't get worse :)

I almost went there but from what I heard I was fortunate to get sick and stayed home. Quite a bit of nastiness going on when your that close too. Wait until boat season out there. That's when the real fun begins.  >:(

Spent several hours casting the wall, 5:30am-1:30pm and heard more complaining from the ice guys back and forth over spots and moving. Allegedly an altercation earlier in the week caused the troopers to be called after a threat to get a gun between guys. Oh for several hours of dragging a slider I ended up with a nice 33" northern after it followed me in and hit right against the wall. Not one run or so much as a flop, lifted rod slowly and swam in the net. No skunk at least. Saw maybe a half dozen perch caught during that time with many lines in the water. Boats coming out next week
