Saw 50* yesterday down in Schenectady. This morning 38 here. A friend fished yesterday with no luck, but he said it was nice out there. He saw a shanty go up in smoke. He rode over near one of his summer rock piles that he fishes and it was more than 10' above the ice. The lake is down almost 20' from its early summer high water mark and to think most of that water has to run by my house on the way to the lake.....h2l

Still above freezing. 33* here and headed to normal mid 40s for the day. Yesterday was just beautiful. Got both the vehicles washed up. Cleaned the garage. Did a little yard work. Put most of the ice fishing stuff away. Cooked some dogs on the Weber.

Have  good day everyone

Morning...Wow that wind was blowing last night..  Had the window in the bedroom open a couple of inches and it was blowing the blinds pretty good and making a lot of noise...
Down to 20* now but it is going to be sunny...

Sunny, 29 and windy. Cooler today but it won't hurt to slow down the melt. River is already coming up. Few spots of water along the edges. Wife is home from hospital and keeping me busy. Better here than driving to hospital everyday. She is doing fine....h2l

19* right now, headed for upper 50's today. I'm headed to check out some of my little springtime spots. I can actually sit at my picnic table now and should be able to see 80% of my lawn by Sunday. Spring is really trying to happen.

Have a great day!
