goals for the season?
« on: Mar 20, 2015, 10:46 PM »
It wouldn't a whole ton of fun with out a few goals this season... My goal is at least one stream brown 23 inch or better on a mouse fly ;D I know its possible just gotta put the time in.. Another goal I want to accomplish is at least one rainbow over 5 lbs from a finger lake trib granted that is another easy on but I have never landed an adult from a finger lake trib.. What's all of your goals this season? I'm sure I'm not the only one with a goal :D

30 lb carp on the fly from the Lake Ontario shoreline. I'd estimate my largest on the stream is about 14 lbs. that was a handful. I'm building a 10' 6 wt just for this purpose. Fishin' the flats for warm water bonefish on Lake O.!

Come on warm, quiet summer mornings ;D

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

To catch a 6lb brown out of a particular pond and to catch a keeper landlock out of any pond.

I also have a list of places I'd like to fish and I'm hoping to check a few more of those off.

To get my son as addicted to fishing as I am.

I guess my goal is to get him out in the boat a few times. I could really care less what we catch.

Just let him drive once ;D

My grandson asked me last night if he could drive the boat again this year.  I said "You betcha!"

Float on more new ponds, catch a bigger brook trout then last year and take my girlfriend and little cousins more. Mostly just have fun.
