Boat #2. Early 90's 16ft Mirrowcraft with a transom mount 9.9 and I think a 75lb thrust trolling motor. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.

Here's mine, picked her up 2 days before I had to come back to work. Didn't even get to christen her with slime yet!!!
She's a 87 Grumman 17' . Custom Amish enclosure. 140 HP OMC.
Scouring CL for a kicker. Came with a bracket for a motor but not sure if I need a long/short shaft. Need to figure out how to connect main I/O to kicker. picking up a 80# Minn Kota bow mount with Ipilot and a Hummingbird  FF when I get back home.
my first real fishing rig!  New to I/O's so I'll be doing alot of reading. Thinking once I get her set up to my specs she'll be good to go.

Nice rig BI

I have used EZ Steers numerous times over the years to connect the main lower unit to the kicker.

http://www.amazon.com/Steer-Conn-kit-Alpha-Mercruiser-alpha/dp/B001O02Q6Q/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1432346062&sr=8-7&keywords=ez+steer

I have one for my Lund but don't use it.
I have the Terrova and iPilot.
I keep the kicker pointed straight ahead and use my iPilot to steer the boat while trolling.

Good luck on your new boat.

1985 20' Rinker  V205 with a 4 cylinder Iron Duke Mercruiser

I have been putting this together for over six years. Getting close but I don't think it ever really ends.

It trailers great and runs like a Swiss Watch. Lake Michigan Salmon and Trout are the main target, but the boat is small enough to easily launch in inland lakes as well.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

ya my brother had a bay liner before his Carolina classic that really was the perfect boat just like your's don't ever go bigger cause the storage fee will kill you  that the whole reason he sold it was to get out from under it... cause he was paying storage fees and not using it cause his kids had other plans like foot ball dance etc.. you know the finer thing in life and a 9 grand storage bill is not worth it when your not using it...

but look like you got one of those perfect boats  not to big and not to small so how's the fishing up on crystal lk, over by frank fort  during ice season?  hear the smelt is good ?  one of te biggest salmon my dad ever caught was out of frank fort , MI on that bay liner my brother had that and I hear walleye and laker's in traverse  bay is awesome too ...   your really in a good spot up there in tc ....

Joe, thats a nice boat, but I think I see enough room to squeeze in some more rod holders on the port side, near the back. Time to place an order.

Seriously though, its a real beauty.
